Baringo Senator Gideon Moi has reiterated Kanu’s support for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.

Speaking in Kiambu County, Gideon campaigned for the President, saying he should be given a chance to build on his legacy.

“We in Kanu decided to back President Uhuru because we want to give him a chance to build his legacy and positively change the lives of Kenyans. He means well; let us give him our votes,” said the senator.

He said the six days remaining to the end of the voter verification exercise should be fully utilised by voters to ensure that they are not locked out on polling day.

“Every vote is very important. Verify so that you can exercise your constitutional right to vote and decide your future,” said the senator.

He also called for peace, noting that while the election period would come and go, Kenya remains constant.

Kiambu County’s Jubilee Party governor candidate Ferdinand Waititu said 12,000 voters had detected errors in their voter details.
