Should I give my ex a second chance?

 Dear Roxanne,

I had dated my ex for a year and a half before she broke up with me out of the blues. She gave me some stupid excuses about wanting to follow her dreams before settling down. I was hurt, but I let her go. Recently, she has started talking to me and says she wants to get back together. I don’t understand why she even left in the first place. I have moved on and not sure if I should take her back. I am so confused. Please advise. Trevor.
