A 15-year-old boy defiles a 5-year-old girl in Yala

A 5-year-old girl was allegedly defiled by a 15-year-old boy in Yala Sub County. The girl is currently admitted at Yala level 4 hospital where she is undergoing treatment.

According to a human right activist based in Yala who rescued the girl and wants to remain anonymous for security reasons, the 15-year-old boy is said to be a son of a well-known politician in the area.  The boy was arrested but later released and is walking scot free.  No action has been taken against him. The 5-year-old girl has not gotten justice because of the fact that they are poor and we all know that “Mnyonge hana haki”
