No injuries reported as a section of 6 storey building collapses Monday morning in Nyali area, Mombasa County.
The toilet section of Mombasa's Nyali Centre collapsed due to what residents said was poor construction.
Police have cordoned off the area although no injuries have been reported. Business operators count losses as they are denied entry to the building.
County Urban planning executive Francis Thoya said sections of the premises were closed.

Officials are planning to inspect the building before making recommendations as the authorities search for engineers and contractors who did a "shoddy job".
This comes a few days after a building collapsed in Huruma, Nairobi due to heavy rains that left at least 49 people dead.
