The collapse of Deputy President William Ruto's case was a huge boost to cohesion, Narok Governor Samuel Tunai has said.
Speaking at Changina Primary School in Emurrua Dikirr during a fund-raiser, the county chief (above) said governors from the Rift Valley region should be in the forefront in fostering reconciliation by ensuring that the various communities are given opportunities in the counties they live in.
"We hail the victory of the DP and journalist Joshua Sang in the International Criminal Court (ICC) case. As leaders we will do all within our means to ensure all communities within this region live in harmony," he said.
Tunai, who is a close ally of the Deputy President, urged residents to shun politicians who divide them along tribal lines.
