Six Nyamira County officials arrested by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission investigators over alleged Sh30 million medical cover scam were arraigned in court on Friday.
The officers, including Simon Onyari (former assembly acting Clerk) and Nehemiah Nyabuto (former Principal Finance Officer) were charged with irregular procurement of Sh30 million medical cover by the County Government.
