Give me the girl Obama: Felix Kiprono's dowry offer for Malia goes global

The story of Kenyan lawyer Felix Kiprono who offered President Obama 50 cows, 70 sheep and 30 goats to marry daughter Malia Obama and published by The Nairobian last week was the global talk the better part of the past week. International media, from CNN, Sky News, New York Times, Daily Mail, The Times Live, Washington Times and even Yahoo News picked and reported the story of Kiprono’s head-over-heels love for Obama’s daughter.

Kiprono claimed his crush for Malia started in 2008. “As a matter of fact, I haven’t dated anyone since and promise to be faithful to her. I have shared this with my family and they are willing to help me raise the bride price,” the learned friend told The Nairobian writer Pkemoi Ng’enoh.
