JAP’s Patrick Tutui lost to ODM candidate in his rural strongholds

NAIROBI: Patrick Tutui did not only lose to ODM’s Elijah Memusi, but also lost where he cast his vote.

At Ilbisil Township Primary school, with 1,236 registered candidates and where Tutui voted, he only garnered 431 votes against Memusi’s 471. He, however, beat Memusi at the nearby Ibissil Boarding Primary School, where with 1,026 registered voters, he got 406 votes against Memusi’s 337. The centres are located in Bissil town, Tutui’s hometown. Memusi trounced Tutui in Engaboli Primary School polling station in Matapato South, where he (Memusi) cast his vote and scored 504 votes against Tutui’s 487.
