LEADERS SHOULD SERVE AND LEAD BY EXAMPLE

The defecting of some politicians from their parties is a great cause of concern. The fact that those leaders have no qualms about  hopping from one party to the next  shows - in my opinion that first  they are not independent and second they did not join their  parties because they believed in what that party stood for  but  because of its lucrativeness or worse still, the leader of the party belonged to their tribe or one that they loved .

Political leaders should not rush in joining political parties, they should  first assess and see which political party has objectives that go in line  with what they believe in. They should autonomously choose the parties they want glamour and glitter notwithstanding. Politicians should not be capricious so that they can obtain trust with the people they want to serve.
