Men don't fund a woman's education in the name of love

Kenyans were early this week shocked to the saddening story of murdered Kenyatta University student, after she ended her relationship with a man who allegedly financed her university education. The incident evoked mixed reactions on mainstream media condemning the evil act. As former United States president George Bush said, the worst of human nature.

In this case who do we blame? Is it the ex-soldier for allegedly financing his lover without knowing the risk nature of his action? Or the lover for accepting to marry the man but later changed her mind? In such a contagious issue each one of us will take his side for reasons well known to us.
