Believing in our dreams can be the hardest things of all time but a life worth living

Dreams come true; I don't expect you to agree with this, that indeed there is a difference between our "wants" and "dreams". Your wants may be valid but again not worthy yarning for, your dreams are valid and I believe they are worthy fighting for, the idea is that, a want is a short term desire, whereas your dreams are a life time desire that you wish to leave and accomplish.

Deep down in your heart, they are pushing and making you believe you can achieve even though things don't look like so. We all once had a dream, ambitions aspiration and maybe we still do, when it looks like we no longer leave them, doesn’t mean that they are dead.  All we ever need is to reignite the burning desire to thrust us up to our goals, let me give you common examples which you are well familiar with. Obama never had a "want" of becoming the president of united states, he had a dream of leading the most powerful nation in the planet, Lupita never had a" want" of becoming a renowned actress, wining some of the most adorable awards in this field, she had a dream that she wanted to leave and make it a reality, a legacy to be emulate by all those who shared in the same spirit of “ I can and I will,” she did it, he did it, you can if you too share in this believe.

Have it in your heart and your mind that your potential is never limited to who you are, what you have nor where you come from and that having the right attitude is the key to unlock your dreams. Having a want is human, we are never forbidden to it, but having a dream exceeds the human understanding of things, laws of physics, at times it’s somehow unnatural, because day dreamers always end up doing some of the most unrealistic things in life. When the laws of physics dictates that gravity pulls all matter at the center of the earth, a rocket openly resist this rule and propels itself up at a very high speed, against the force of gravity, the laws of science, this was someone’s dream, it's now a discernible reality.

The problem with dwelling in our "wants" is that, wants can easily be shut down when our effort to achieve them is thwarted by circumstances, in the eyes of a dream nothing is quite conspicuous, no heights are too high to jump over, no amount of discouragement is visible. A dream is always the David that is ready to face every goliath in our life, it’s the only thing that can skate smoothly against the grains, complain less on every challenge because it understands that challenges always invite the hidden treasure beneath.

Dreams make you believe in yourself when everyone else disapproves the all idea, they understand the value of patience and what it demands, that I put in more effort patiently rather than seat down and hope impatiently. Comrades, seating around and wondering why things are not working for you will never bring the difference, it won't make them work and worst of all, things will always get ugly day by day. Why don’t you rise up and start working on your dreams? What is holding you back? Why do you insist on holding on to nothing when there is much to grab? Why are you so allergic to trying out new things? Giving it a short before giving up? (Giving up, never been an option).

You declared yourself a loser before the race started, why do you allow this to happen? You are so able with unlimited potential that you don’t deserve to torture yourself this much with those past bad experiences you have had, they were never meant to hold you back but teach you a lesson. You have invested substantial amount of your energy working on your "wants" and nurturing your fear, luckily you have manage to earn some of your wants, but mostly  things ended up with regrets and disappointments, you don't have to camp on this, it’s never that worthy. Instead pick up yourself and rise up again, concentrate on your dreams, nature them, watering them every bright morning and evenings they are practical, your biggest assets and achievable, invest heavily in them, Dreams do come true. I wish to put down my pen even though my dream insists that I cheap in more, it might never end, after all, there is time for everything.
