Okay, before The Bold, there was The Young and the Restless, Days of Our Lives, Sunset Beach, Lady of the Rose, The Rich Also Cry, Knots Landing and the biggest soap of back in the day, Dallas.
Few soaps though could hold a candle to The Bold that revolved around the intense romance between Ridge Forrester, Brooke Logan and Dr Taylor Hayes. Kenyan women ate, drank, slept and fantasised about Ridge, the chisel-jawed hunk and the two hot women fighting for his attention.
