Religious leaders asked to stop radicalising youth

Religious leaders have been asked to stop radicalising youth in places of worship.

County Commissioner Arthur Osiya warned the leaders that they will be arrested and prosecuted.

Speaking during Madaraka Day celebrations at Maasai Mara University, Mr Osiya said the only contract the church has with the youth is spiritual nourishment.

"We shall investigate to know if those in the mosques and churches have been cleares to conduct services," said Osiya adding that the Nyumba Kumi initiative will be enforced.

Narok East MP Ken Kiloku called on Kenyans to pray for the vindication of Deputy President William Ruto and radio journalist Joshua Arap Sang at the ICC.
