A man had to pay Sh20,000 bond or cash bail of Sh3,000 for allegedly chasing his brother with a panga.
The accused, Humphrey Khaono, was charged with behaving in a manner likely to cause breach of peace before a Kakamega court.
The court heard that Khaono chased his brother Nanjili Isaac with the intention of causing him harm after a disagreement in Namabacha area on April 27.
The court heard that Nanjili outran his brother before deciding to report the matter to the area chief.
Khaono however denied the charges saying he had no recollection of such an incident. He claimed that: “I am being framed because I did not chase him with a panga, he just ran,”
The case will be heard on May 27, 2015.
