Mixed reactions continue to emerge over the newly formed Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) as some Jubilee coalition members express their discontent with the new political vehicle.

West Pokot Senator John Lonyangapuo has distanced himself from the new party, saying Kanu is not part of JAP.

He said all parties in the Jubilee coalition signed a post-election agreement with TNA and URP to work together. However, he added, Kanu had not signed any pact with JAP and not all parties affiliated to Jubilee coalition had consented to the new party.

"I urge Jubilee leaders in both houses to work closely with all coalition members so they can properly interpret the position of the Government before going public on any matter," said the senator.
