Sudanese killed in city estate after dispute

Police are investigating an incident in which a South Sudanese national was killed in a fight in their house in Donholm, Nairobi.

The deceased is said to have picked a quarrel with another South Sudanese on Saturday night in a bar before the fight spilled over into their house, where the body was discovered. The suspected assailant is missing and efforts to trace him are ongoing. The body was later moved to the mortuary. Police said they are yet to know the motive behind the fight and subsequent death of the victim.

"We were informed the men had fought in a bar and the fight spread to their house, where the deceased passed on. We are investigating the matter," said Buruburu CID boss Henry Kiambati.

Elsewhere, a woman has been arrested over the disappearance of her husband in Nairobi's Kangemi area. The man is believed to have been murdered and his body disposed at an undisclosed place over family differences.
