NAIVASHA, KENYA: The police impostor Joshua Waiganjo Karianjahi has now written to the national assembly seeking that they investigate his arrest and his employment as a police reservist.

In a petition to the Speaker, Waiganjo insisted that he was legally employed by the police and had served in the force for twelve years.

He pointed out to a commission appointed by the former head of state for his woes noting that some of those investigating him were his employers.

“The commission was headed and deputized by the same people who employed me and how could they investigate themselves?” he wondered.

He noted that the commission report was never made public adding that he was never given a chance to defend himself before been branded an imposter.

Waiganjo who is currently been held at Naivasha G.K prison wondered why the press was in a hurry to label him as an imposter but failed to seek his employers.

He defended former Rift Valley PPO John M’Mbijiwe and his ASTU counterpart Lemi Ngugi who were sacked and arraigned in court over his arrest.

“The two are not imposters neither were they my employers and it seems that the police force has turned out to be a man-eat-man society,” reads the letter in part.

He called on parliament to fully investigate if he was an imposter as alleged or an innocent agent been crucified to cover certain secrets.

“Why is no one asking me where my letters of appointment are and I feel that some people in the force want to cover some secrets that were about to leak out,”

Waiganjo who rose to the rank of an assistant commissioner of police called on parliament to treat the issue as national security.

He added that the national assembly should investigate the conduct and report by the commission appointed to investigate him.

“We citizens of this country have entrusted our lives to parliament to defend our rights especially in the events of brutality and malice,” the letter sums up.

Waiganjo who is facing various charges in different courts in the country is currently serving a two year jail term in Naivasha prison.

He is working on the last chapters of his book “Goodbye comrades’ which according to him will reveal major secrets in the police force.

He has already released various chapters where he alleges how he was approached by an influential politician in the country to fix President Uhuru in the case he is facing in ICC.
