Nairobi Provincial Cricket Association (NPCA) Division One side Obuya Academy held their nerve to beat Super League Club Kongonis by 14 runs in the ongoing Harilal Memorial Tournament. Not even home support could stop Obuya from humbling their hosts in a match played at Nairobi Club.

Kennedy Obuya batted well for Obuya with 59 not out while Kevin Kimtai made 33 runs off 34 balls to give his side a second victory and enhance their chances of reaching the semi-finals. Eugine Maneno bowled well for Kongonis taking three wickets for five runs in three overs while Martin Mworia and Martin Okoth grabbed one wicket for 14 and 24 runs in four overs respectively.
