I WON'T watch my brother play in Australian Open doubles final as it's 'too stressful'

Andy Murray set up a weekend of glory for his family Down Under – then revealed he will not watch brother Jamie play in Saturday’s doubles final because it is too stressful, writes Neil McLeman in Melbourne.

The British No.1 battled back to beat Milos Raonic to make it a singles final rematch with Novak Djokovic at the Australian Open .

Jamie is through to the doubles final, but Andy said: “I haven’t watched any of his matches here.

"I try not to watch. I find it pretty stressful to watch, so I won’t. I will just check the score online.”

No brothers have ever reached the singles and doubles finals at a Grand Slam before.

Andy said: “For it to be the first time to happen, it is incredible really.

"I never would have expected that.

“There’s not many tennis players that have come out of Scotland, so I never expected to be doing this.
