Manchester United have been dealt a double blow to their hopes of landing Harry Kane.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and manager Mauricio Pochettino have both promised Spurs fans star man Kane is going nowhere.

United boss Louis Van Gaal is in the market for a new striker and Kane is on his radar.

The 21 year-old has enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season at White Hart Lane, scoring 32 goals for club and country.

That prompted Van Gaal to put £45million-rated Kane on his list of summer transfer targets.

But when asked if Kane is staying by a Spurs fan during a Facebook both Levy and Pochettino responded with a resounding “yes!”

Levy also confirmed Pochettino will have the “final decision” on transfers and outlined his hopes for Spurs to “be one of the most successful clubs in Europe”.

Levy added: “The new stadium will be a game changer for us as it will create revenues that we can invest in the first team and deliver success on the pitch - so that is a priority for us.”
