Mwangangi to defend 11th edition of Madoka Half Marathon

Mishi wambiji, Brand Assets Manager Safaricom and Yudah Yogo, Senior Manager Regional Operations Safaricom Limited handover a Kshs 2 million cheque to Major (rtd) Marsden Madoka and Ms. Susan Kamau CEO Athletic Kenya. During the launch of Safaricom Madoka Half Marathon, that will be held on 22nd October in Taita Taveta County.

The 2012 World Half Marathon bronze medalist John Mwangangi will be out to defend his win at the 11th edition of Masden Madoka Half Marathon slated for October 22, 2016 in Ngereni, Taita Taveta County.

Mwangangi who also bagged team gold at  the world half  marathon event held in Karvana, Bulgaria, will  face stiff opposition from Nicholas Kipkemoi and Hosea Amok  who ended the Madoka Half Marathon contest  in second and third place respectively last year.
