Singer Victoria Kimani has her claws out and she is targeting socialites.

The Choc City star took to Instagram recently saying she’s tired of young girls in Kenya being pressured by society to become “over glorified prostitutes.”

“I want young girls in Kenya not to be pressured by society to become over glorified prostitutes... Finish school ... You don’t have to be a whore to be relevant, never trade respect for attention. I love you ... I would never lead you astray,” she wrote.

The East African singer recently released her first song GOTA in Swahili.

In the first verse, it sounds as if Victoria is taking a jab at socialite Huddah Monroe for allegedly dating older men.

In part, the verse goes: “Ujue natoka mbali /Victoria Kimani nani /wanajua mi ni nani/... sihanyi mabuda/ mimi sio Huddah... (Know that I have come so far, Victoria Kimani, they know who I am, I don’t go after old men, I’m not Huddah...)”

Huddah has since responded by calling the singer “irrelevant.”

This comes months after the singer distanced herself from prostitution, saying that just because she sports sultry outfits on stage doesn’t mean she is a prostitute. She took to her Instagram page (@victoriakimani) to address some opinions about female entertainers.

“Just because I am singing to you in a cute outfit on stage and on your television does not make me a prostitute. There are too many people praying for me to fall into the hands of the enemy so freely and easily. I work damn hard. I have been working on, dreaming about, planning for, building towards, sweating, crying... been under-rated and still rose up to be the baddest,” she wrote.
