A religious leader has claimed diviners and witch doctors from Tanzania have invaded Malindi to "bless" politicians aspiring for various seats in the August polls.

Speaking in his office, Thomas Kakala of Jesus Celebration Centre warned Kenyans against feasting on food prepared by politicians because it might have been subjected to rituals in the underworld to confuse them on voting day.

The bishop claimed many politicians were turning to witchcraft for fame and were ready to spend millions and even sacrifice lives to achieve their dream.
