Keroche vows to pursue suit while other brewers weigh out of court settlement

Keroche Industries's application for judicial review against the action by Kenya Bureau of standards to invade its premises will proceed to full hearing.

The court made the decision as other beer manufacturers sought to negotiate and have the matter settled out of court.

Kenya Breweries, London distillates and Kenya wines agencies have indicated to the court that they are still negotiating on issues raised in their application and will only require ten days to report back the progress.

Keroche Industries on its part told Justice George Odunga that they have not been approached and will proceed to hear the application and the court makes finding.

The court directed that all matters touching on a dispute with KBS be mentioned on July 31 for further give directions and orders.

The judge had last week issued orders requiring KBS to remove padlocks placed in the company's premises within twenty four hours
