Gospel artiste Gloria Muliro got people's tongues waging and radio stations talking after she gave out an exclusive interview to Pulse, opening up about her broken marriage of 5 years to Congolese preacher husband Eric Omba.
The story which was carried last week, caused a buzz on social media, with people voicing their opinion on her broken marriage which is described as a story webbed around claims of marital infidelity and mistrust, abuse and violence.
Gloria described her husband as an ungrateful man who mistreated her and caused her nothing more than anguish and pain.
Her husband, Eric Omba, took to his Facebook page saying, “My wife and I have had challenges and with God’s help we shall overcome. I am sorry for the pain I may have caused my wife and plead with her to forgive me. I have also forgiven her and ask our brethren to pray for us as I pray for a chance to meet my wife and solve our issues directly with the help of our family members, men and women of God who know the real meaning of marriage and not through media. IS THERE ANYTHING TOO HARD TO OUR GOD?? TRUST ME THERE IS NOTHING IMPOSSIBLE WHEN WE ALLOW GOD TO RULE OVER US. May God bless you all as you pray for us.”
He had earlier posted another update saying, "Hello everyone, my friends and brethren I want to let you know that whatever the media is saying about me that I HAVE RESPONDED TO MY WIFE by writing back is NOT TRUE. I love my wife so much and I know God will deal with our issues and heal our hearts. My WIFE AND I WE ARE DESTINED TO SHINE TOGETHER no matter the challenges we going through I love my wife and I will always love her... and if it comes to marrying again, I will still propose and remarry her a million times. NOBODY CAN LOVE ME THE WAY SHE DOES."
Many came out in support of the Congolese pastor, offering to pray for their reunion and urging him to stay strong. The singer has remained quiet ever since she did her exclusive interview on Pulse.
