"Maswali ya polisi" hit singer DNA is known far and wide for his musical prowess and his affiliation to Grandpa records, one of Kenya's finest recording stables.
Despite having done a lot of collaborations and holding a top position in the recording stable, DNA recently left the group without much word.
Vibe on the street is that the two bigwigs (Refigah and DNA) had fallen out, but it has come to our attention that the two are still friends with different priorities.
DNA made it clear that he left the stable because he wanted to build his personal brand, and that after working as a team for so long, he finally needed to grow his brand individually.
"Sometimes it gets hard when you do things as a team and then it comes to a point you just feel you want to handle things as an individual," DNA said.
