Treasury kicks off e-procurement training in state corporations

National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich.

Nairobi, Kenya: The Government has put in place plan to ensure implementation of the newly introduced e-procurement platform, IFMIS.

Through the National Treasury, the Government will beginning Wednesday March 18 start training officials from state corporations on how to use IFMIS e-procurement system. This is expected to boost the uptake of the system as the roll out of the automated procurement and payment platform within the corporations gathers momentum.
