iPhone and iPod iOS 8 receives its 8th iteration

Continuity can let you start an email on your iPhone, seamlessly add pictures from your iPad and finish off on your Mac.

iOS 8’s elegant and intuitive interface extends to third-party apps that have been reworked to take advantage of over 4000 new APIs opened to developers. Touch ID, PhotoKit, Camera API, HealthKit, HomeKit and CloudKit are a few examples of the new capabilities given to developers. You will immediately notice and love the new extended sharing options, custom actions, third-party keyboards, widgets, document handling and much more.

With technologies like SpriteKit, SceneKit and Metal, optimal performance can be achieved with the CPU and GPU working together. iOS 8 is compatible with iPhone 4s, iPad 2, and iPod touch 5th-gen. The upgrade file is fairly large (1GB), and will require a stable internet connection either on Wi-Fi or through iTunes on your PC or Mac.
