Visually, it may be similar compared to iOS 7’s flat design, but the inner workings and tools have received a massive upgrade.
Everyday apps that ship with all Apple devices have been enhanced in great ways. Photos app has new search features, smart albums, making favourites, and powerful new editing tools. Messages allows you add voice notes location, as well as photos and videos. The new Keyboard suggests contextually appropriate words to complete your sentences. Spotlight app now gives you suggestions from Wikipedia entries, places nearby, trending news, and more. The Notifications Centre has a widget support and new ways to respond to your messages and reminders. The Multitasking window has added your favourite contacts to help you communicate even easier. And a number of improvements have been added to your Safari to give you best browsing experience.
