Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi alias Sonko has opposed an application by Nairobi County Chief of Staff George Wainaina Njogu seeking to stop his trial.
Sonko, through lawyer Lydia Kwamboka, said yesterday that staying the proceedings of the criminal court as sought by Mr Wainaina would interfere with the duty of the court and its independence.
