Q. What is TACC store all about?

A. TACC offers our customers a defined retail solution for interior furnishings for domestic and commercial uses. We have a wide assortment ranging from sanityware & bathrooms, tiles & flooring to home & office furniture, fabrics and everything you need to put the finishing touches to your home.

Service, consistency & product innovation is a continual focus for us. Our values mean that we do not compromise on quality, while still delivering value for money.

Q. What inspired its formation?

A. Following the success of the Tile & Carpet Centre, TACC, the retail arm of the business fills a gap in the market where Kenyans are aspiring to improve their lifestyle. TACC offers products that are not normally available locally, in an-international-style shopping experience.

Q. How has it been received in the Kenyan market?

A. TACC has been received well by the Kenyan market. We opened our 3rd branch at Garden City Mall last year in June. We know Kenyans are very proud of their homes and our ranges work well in offering the market diversified products and trends.

Q. Who does it target?

A.Our core customer base is the middle to high end sector. We offer carefully sourced products and anyone who wants a personalised shopping experience should come to TACC.

Q. How busy is the store, i.e transaction in a day, a month etc?

A. With currently 2 stores in Nairobi and 1 in Kisumu, each store is at a different stage in its development. The more established stores have a loyal customer base whilst Garden City, the newest branch, is still growing.

Q. What are some of the challenges faced since formation,?

A. The retail sector is rapidly changing and we are experiencing growth in the number of malls and outlets within Kenya. Currently the purchasing power is not in line with the footfall within the malls however we are confident that over time this will improve.
