Somebody Tell Fox News we are not 'War-Torn Africa', Kenyans attack American TV channel

Western media has once again felt the wrath of Kenyans on Twitter after the hard-hitting twitterati turned their attention to FOX News.

This was after the American cable and satellite news channel described the Papal Tour as a visit to “War-Torn Africa” to the irritation of Kenyans.

A scenario reminiscent of CNN’s ‘Hotbed of Terror’ reference when President Obama visited Kenya a few months ago.

Today as Pope Francis conducts a mass at the University of Nairobi, Kenyans on Twitter are fighting a different battle. One of dispelling the myth that Africa is nothing but a continent ravaged by war.

KOT have made their voice heard through the #SomebodyTellFOXNews hashtag, though an apology from this TV channel that is known to thrive on controversy may be too much to ask for.
