I feel guilty after one night stand with another girl but it felt much better than when with my boyfriend

I have been through a lot with my current boyfriend and I love him to bits, but we had an argument a few months back and broke up for three days.

He was working away, so I went out and met someone in town – the problem is, the person I met was a woman.

I went back to her place and had the most amazing sexual experience of my life – it was out of this world – and then I never spoke to her again.

It was only ever a one-night stand type of thing.

Now I’m back with my boyfriend and we’re buying a house, things are good and we’re trying for a baby, but there’s something missing in the sex department.

Sex with him doesn’t come close to how I felt with her. My encounter has left me wondering, am I a lesbian?

Coleen says

First of all, stop trying for a baby. Until you know exactly how you feel it’s not wise to bring a baby into the equation knowingly.

Secondly, it could have been mind-blowing sex because it was something you’d never done before.

I know married couples that have threesomes and it doesn’t make them question their sexuality – they just enjoy the sex and the thrill of it.

I think you’re the only one who can decide if you’re straight, gay or bisexual.

Maybe this experience has awoken something inside you.

However, if you’re still making plans with your boyfriend and all is good apart from the fact that sex is a bit boring, then maybe you have to concentrate on fixing that.

What worries me is that you cheated with someone else after being apart for just three days. I think something’s wrong in your relationship and you may need a longer break to decide which avenue to go down.
