Acting Lands Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i appoints Andrew Saisi as NHC Managing Director

Kenya: The Acting Lands Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i has appointed Andrew Saisi as the new Managing Director for National Housing Corporation (NHC) for a period of three years.

The appointment takes effect September 1, 2015. Saisi was the General Manager of the Expanded Polysterene Systems (EPS) Factory, a subsidiary of the corporation.

Matiang’i said NHC’s Board of Directors had forwarded three names of the leading candidates after an elaborate recruitment process and interviews.

“Considering all factors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Andrew Saisi as the new Managing Director for a period of three years, effective September 1, 2015. Mr Saisi has been the General Manager of the Expanded Polysterene Systems (EPS) Factory, a subsidiary of the National Housing Corporation”, Matiang’i said in a press statement sent to newsrooms Tuesday.

Mr Saisi is a Civil Engineer and a seasoned Manager. He is also an MBA holder. He has worked for reputable International companies like BMW in the UK and Tracker Group of Companies in Kenya.

“He brings a wealth of experience gained from working in the corporate world both at the national and international level”, the acting Lands CS said.

He added, “I have every confidence that Mr Saisi will deliver to the satisfaction of the board, the Ministry and the public at large. I look forward to working with him to ensure that Kenyans get affordable and decent housing as captured in the mandate of the National Housing Corporation."
