Ngikor refutes allegations of buying illegal firearms

A legislator from the North Rift has denied allegations levelled against him by his critics that he is using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to purchase illegal firearms from neighbouring countries.

Nicolas Ngikor, the Turkana East MP said the utterances are 'lies' orchestrated to tarnish his name.

Recently, some leaders from the region accused the MP of buying firearms for the Turkana community to carry out raids.

Speaking after attending a peace meeting between Turkana and Baringo county leaders in Eldoret, the MP said he is clean and audited CDF books of account are open for scrutiny by everybody.
