Kilifi, Kenya:  An Administration Police officer was Thursday night killed and at least two others critically wounded when unknown gangsters attacked a camp in Mwanamwinga area, Kaloleni.

Kilifi county commissioner Albert Kobia said machete-wielding gang raided the police camp, killing the corporal in charge of the camp.

"Some guns were stolen. We have launched a manhunt for the attackers," said Kobia.

The attackers struck at about 11pm when it was raining heavily in the area.
