Bank boosts Jua Kali artisans with Sh3m health check-up

Nairobi; Kenya: I&M Bank has boosted artisans through a medical camp to cover their health. The lender spent Sh3 million to provide free medical services covering diagnostic kits, medications and other logistics.

I&M Bank Chief Executive Officer Arun Mathur said the financial institution was reaching out to the under-privileged population and help improve their lives. “As a bank, we have a robust social responsibility programme and health is one of the key pillars,” said Mathur. “For the two days, we’ll be spending Sh3 million to provide medical services to the artisans.”
