Aden Duale in a spot over curfew

NAKURU COUNTY: Jubilee leaders in Nakuru have hit out at National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale for opposing the dusk-to-dawn curfew imposed in Lamu County following recent attacks.

Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua and MPs Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati), David Gikaria (Nakuru East) and Samuel Arama (Nakuru Town West) have accused Duale of failing to consult the government.

"We have noted with concern that on several occasions, Duale has contradicted government position on key security issues yet he has access to both President Uhuru and his Deputy Ruto," said Ngunjiri. Governor Mbugua said the curfew was to enable security forces isolate the attackers.
