I respect Uhuru ‘very much’, says Musila

Kitui Senator David Musila says he respects and holds President Uhuru Kenyatta in high esteem.

The senator said he has nothing personal against the President though they belong to opposing political inclinations.

"I will speak my mind and continue inviting the President to address myriad challenges in Kitui County and Ukambani in general," Musila said.

He told off an MP from Machakos County for "pretending to speak on behalf of Kitui leaders".

Last month, Uhuru was scheduled to meet professionals at Kyondoni Mixed Day Secondary in Kitui West constituency - Minority Leader Francis Nyenze's constituency - but some leaders the accused MP of undermining Wiper.
