Thousands of students attend Kenyatta University Campus Tour

Nairobi, Kenya: The Kenyatta University Campus tour saw thousands of students throng the Bishop square grounds all through the night.

It was an action packed day as participants in the talent search displayed their best acts and as models strut through the catwalk to catch the attention of the judges.

Creativity was at its best as various outfits were showcased on stage.

Top artists in the gospel industry were also present to culminate the concert.  There were great performances by DK Kwenye beat popularly known for his hit single Sari Sari.

Size 8 gave an electrifying performance coupled with Willy Paul as they sang Tam Tam to the delight of the exhilarated students.

Hope Kid proved to be a darling to many as he took the stage.

At the decks was KTN’s DJ Krowbar and award winning DJ MO, who brought the crowd to their feet with their mixes.

The day’s MC and Hypeman MC Njugush led the crowd with a variety of dance moves keeping the house on their feet.  Other artists present were Mr. Seed and Benachi, among others.

The finalists of the Mr and Miss KU were unveiled just after midnight.

Standard Group’s director Mr. Francis Munywoki presented the award to the new Mr Kenyatta University as Pulse editor presented an award to the new Miss Kenyatta University.

The concert which begun at 6pm on Friday ended at 4am on Saturday.  

Campus tour has being to more than 7 campuses since 2013 and it aims at encouraging students to write and get published while still in campus. Extremely good articles that get published are paid for.
