Muchemi’s son found dead

NAIROBI, KENYA: A son to Solicitor General Wanjuki Muchemi was Monday found dead in their Loresho home in Nairobi.

The body of Muchemi Jr, a law student at a UK university, was found lying in his father’s house Monday morning. He was the only son of the Muchemis. He has two sisters.

His father and mother were away in Rwanda for holidays but were informed and arrived Monday evening.

A guard at the compound told police he had failed to see Muchemi for more than a day and called the Solicitor General and informed him his son had been missing.

The guard called the police who arrived and broke into the house where the body was found lying on the bed. CID director Ndegwa Muhoro said a team of experts was handling the case.

And a police constable committed suicide in his house in Nairobi’s Ruaraka Police Logistics headquarters. The body of Jacob Chacha Marwa was found hanging in his house hours after he had gone missing.
