North Korea says will shun UN rights forum over political attacks

GENEVA: North Korea will boycott any session of the U.N. Human Rights Council that examines its record and will "never, ever" be bound by any such resolutions, its foreign minister said on Tuesday.

The announcement signalled further isolation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), whose leadership stands accused of committing crimes against humanity and is poised to be hit with fresh sanctions for its nuclear programme.
