Romario, elected in the 2010 general election to the Chamber of Deputies on the Brazilian Socialist Party ticket, wants a full enquiry into alleged corruption and bribery surrounding Brazil's hosting of the 2014 World Cup. Bebeto was also elected in the same year as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Rio de Janeiro under the Democratic Labour Party. Being a member of the World Cup LOC, Bebeto sees no evil in the staging of the tourney, but controversial Romario, as in his playing days, is adamant there must be a full inquest.
