Women Premier League side Kangemi Ladies FC and Kangemi All Stars FC now have a reason to smile after their home ground, Kihumbuini Primary School, was refurbished.

The dilapidated historic arena has undergone a complete make-over, thanks to betPawa’s Dream Maker campaign dubbed ‘Pawaring Dreams Across Kenya.

“Kihumbuini was a pale shadow of its former self, it was a hub of criminals and drug-traffickers. But now we have a reason to celebrate.

It has been ‘souped up’ by online betting firm, betPawa,” said Kangemi Football Association Secretary General, Athanas Obango. The field which was handed over to the association on Tuesday now has new goal posts, a new gate and levelled.
