Kenyans react after MP Wanjala referred to Ababu Namwamba as a Budalang'i resident

Budalang'i Member of Parliament Raphael Wanjala on Wednesday 22 November caused a stir on social media after referring to former Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba as a ‘Budalang'i resident'.

“Earlier today I together with Busia county Governor His Excellency Sospeter Odeke Ojaamong attended the signing of KES 10 billion Lower Nzoia irrigation project phase 1 in Busia County with Sino Hydro Corp Ltd at Maji house. The function was hosted by water and Irrigation CS Eugene Wamalwa.With us is a Budalangi resident Mr Ababu Namwamba,” MP Wanjala posted on his Facebook page.

The post was followed by all sorts of comments especially after he referred to Busia Governor Sospeter Ojaamong and Water CS Eugene Wamalwa by their official titles.

Ababu Namwamba who is a constant critic of National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga after their dispute on the October 26 repeat presidential election. The former MP is currently working with the Jubilee government.
