Independent Electoral and Boundaries
Commission (IEBC) official Abdi Guliye during his speech at the Bomas of Kenya
on 28 October explained why there are results from Kisumu County on the IEBC
website yet the area is one of the places where the repeat presidential
elections did not take place.
“The issue of Kisumu West transmitting, yes, there are two constituencies in the mentioned counties where voting has been suspended, where actually in some polling stations elections took place, and one of these is Kisumu west and another in Muhoroni. So for those polling stations where there was voting, there will be valid transmissions, “said Abdi Guliye.
