GOVERNOR ALFRED MUTUA IS THE GAME CHANGER

Governor Alfred Mutua may be the answer to this country's search for a nontribal, issue-oriented, pragmatic and 'quick' president.

His ratings are on the rise especially with the establishment of his Maendeleo Chap Chap Party which denotes hasty development.

He has won the hearts of many Kenyans especially the disadvantaged as they see him as the liberator... Given his party's ideology that "Inawezekana Na Itawezekana."

He's been able to restore hope among many Kenyans that politics aside, our problems are solvable.

Of course ditching the Wiper party to form his progressive outfit earned him criticism and political foes with some accusing him of too much PR and "working with the Government."

He gave the critics a deaf ear and went ahead to solve the problems of his people- water, electricity, agricultural infrastructure, road networks, equipping hospitals etc.

This #Chap_Chap ideology has gained momentum. This is evident through the party popularity/membership across the country.

The 47 years old PR/media expert is a great inspiration to many young and old Kenyans.

He worked hard to acquire a good education and to build a reputable career in teaching, writing/production and civil service.

He was the first official Kenyan Government spokesperson. He served as government spokesperson between 2004 to 2012 when he quit to vie for Machakos County Governor position- he won with a 71% of the vote!

The position of a government spokesperson is usually a controversial one especially when the holder of the office is tasked to "defend" a government's position that is not popular with the people. With humor, courage, and oratory, Mutua performed his duties pretty well.

It's his successful and practical blueprint for Machakos county that has earned him credit and convinced other counties that some problems are solvable within a shorter time.

It will be difficult to discuss post-Uhuru presidency without mentioning him given his focus to uplift lives and charisma.
