Former Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, rubbished claims that he was working with Deputy President William Ruto.

Through twitter, Musyoka stated that the claims are meant to destroy his relationship with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“In the light of recent conversations and speculations about working with the DP, please note that these speculations are malicious”

“They are a desperate attempt to drive a wedge between me and HE the President and have failed. Remarks by individuals should not be attributed to me” posted the former VP.

A tweet that shows his opinion that those associated to the Deputy President risk landing in trouble with the President.

Kalonzo said this hours after Wiper party member and former Machakos County Senator pledged his support for Deputy President.

This attracted the attention of Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen who was quick to fire a response towards Kalonzo.

“Your Excellency I don’t think working with the DP will in anyway drive a wedge between you and the President unless of course I missed the memo” said Murkomen.
