Chantal and I never broke up – Eric Omondi

Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi has revealed that he never broke up with his long term Italian-Kenyan fiancé, Chantal Grazioli. 

According to the comedian, Chantal only went back to school but their relationship is still intact.

He also revealed during an interview with Dr. Ofweneke has he is still in touch with Chantal since they speak every day.

“Me and Chantal we never broke up in the first place if you read what I wrote and what she wrote. She was going to school and also to do some other things. So we have not broken up and we are not on a break and we are not separated, “said Eric.

Eric told his fans that Chantal will be coming back to the country for the Christmas holiday and thus, they (his fans), should reserve any further questions till she arrives.

“So we never broke-up and she is coming for Christmas by the way, so mngoje akikuja mtauliza hizo maswali zingine,” said the comedian.

In May 2019, the couple shocked Kenyans on social media after posting messages insinuating that it was over between them.

His message startled many especially since he had earlier stated that they were planning an Sh80 million wedding.

"Our wedding hasn't happened yet because I'm waiting for you [Kenyans] to help me fundraise. I need Sh80 million; for the dowry payment, pre-wedding and main wedding. Soon, I will share M-Pesa number so people can contribute something," said Eric.

Most fans couldn’t tell if the comedian was joking about breaking up with Chantal or if the break up is actually true.

"I WILL MISS YOU. I met you when you were only 19...I have known you for 4 and a half years...Shared and created some of the best moments in life with you. You changed my life COMPLETELY...As you move into your new phase in life with or without me I want to wish you all the best My Love??...The paths that brought us together are now facing different directions and as you move on in your path I WISH you the BEST life has to offer,” read part of Eric’s message.
