NTSA warns owners of these 409 vehicles that they risk deregistration

The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) on Wednesday sent out a warning to owners of 409 civilian motor vehicles over failure to present their cars for inspection.

In reference to a notice issued in May, NTSA stated that the vehicles were yet to be presented and the owners were given 14 working days to comply.

“Through, this Public Notice, the owners are hereby given 14 working days to present them, failure to which the vehicles shall be deregistered without further reference to the owners,” said NTSA.

To facilitate this process, the owners should submit the following documents;

  • Original and copy of the Registration certificate (Logbook)
  • Importation documents
  • National Identification card and KRA PIN Certificate
  • Any other document to proof ownership
