Sabina Chege visits ailing Jimmy Gait in India

Murang’a Woman Representative Sabina Chege this week visited Kenyan gospel artiste Jimmy Gait who is currently in India for treatment.

Through a post seen by Ureport, Gait stated that the legislator was in India to gather information on why many Kenyans seek treatment there and how Kenya’s health sector can be improved.

“Mheshimiwa Sabina Chege came to visit Kenyans who are ailing here in India.

“She has gathered some good information on why so many Kenyans are coming here and how the government can intervene to improve our Health sector. Wapi likes za Mheshimiwa!?” wrote Jimmy Gait.

Recently, the singer revealed to his fans that he had been advised to seek treatment outside the country and asked the nation to pray for his full recovery.

“I have been battling a condition and have gone to quite a number of hospitals and it has been decided I have to go out of the country for specialised treatment.

“I’m here just to ask for your prayers. If I’ve blessed you in any way through my music or any other way, it’s time for me to seek your support.

“Just say a prayer for me, it will go a long way,” he said.

In a separate video, he warned those peddling rumours that he has throat cancer to stop since it is affecting his family.

“I would like to highlight something that I have noticed on social media going on and there is a rumour saying that I have come here for cancer treatment, that I have throat cancer I don’t know where that came from but I would really appeal to anybody spreading those kind of rumours to kindly desist because we are still doing tests and until the results are out it’s not right for you to spread those kind of rumours.

“It’s already affecting my parents so much, my family, my close people and fans that love me they are worried about me,” he remarked.
